Parts & Workmanship Warranty Policy

All bench services completed by Paradigm Reboot include comprehensive warranty coverage to guarantee your repaired device performs to specification:

90-Day Parts Replacement Warranty
Covers manufacturing defects on all installed screens, replacement batteries, charging ports, and internal board components. Defective components are replaced at zero part cost.
30-Day Labor & Workmanship Guarantee
Guarantees all physical assembly, micro-soldering connections, thermal pad/paste application, and diagnostic adjustments performed during your repair.
Warranty Exclusions: Coverage strictly applies to the specific repaired defect and installed hardware. Coverage does not apply to subsequent accidental physical damage (cracked glass/panels, impact damage), liquid intrusion occurring post-repair, customer-opened hardware/tampering, or secondary unrelated hardware failures. OS Reinstalls and malware cleanup carry a 14-day software verification period.

⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Apple Device Repairs (iPhone, iPad, MacBook & T2 / Apple Silicon)

Due to Apple’s proprietary hardware serialization and cryptographic component-pairing architecture, aftermarket or independent component replacements interact directly with Apple's T2 security chip and Secure Enclave:

  • TrueTone & Face ID: Display replacements on modern iPhones and iPads may require specialized EEPROM transfer tools to retain TrueTone functionality. Face ID sensor modules are cryptographically locked to the logic board; physically damaged Face ID hardware cannot be swapped without losing biometric unlock.
  • Touch ID / Fingerprint Sensor: Home buttons and power buttons with integrated Touch ID sensors are matched to each individual board. Replacing a damaged button assembly disables Touch ID functionality.
  • Battery & Display Warnings: Installing high-quality third-party replacement batteries or displays will trigger an informational "Unknown Part" or "Service" notice within iOS/macOS settings. This notice does not degrade the real-world battery life or charging performance.
  • T2 Security Chip & Apple Silicon: Board-level service on T2-equipped and Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) devices requires account activation lock clearance and may require Apple Configurator DFU restore operations upon assembly.
